Food Books of 2011

Here's a list of food books I read in 2011, some I discussed earlier in the year here.

Updating to add two I forgot

This list is for the Foodie's Reading Challenge built by Margot better known as Joyfully Retired
Special thanks to the Traverse Area District Library!

And two books I have picked to start off 2012, the first I started yesterday on Kindle for my iPhone and the other I ordered a used copy off Amazon today.  Gotta love $.01 books!

It's just ok. It's good for visual meal planning but I didn't think it was all that original or special. And I was annoyed about the couple of recipes with heavy cream or cheese.

Maybe it's time to jump-start my cookbook addiction. I just realized, Bouchon, is the only book I own, in this entire line-up

Happy New Year Maggie!

Happy new year, Maggie! I'll be curious what you think of Blood, Bones & Butter, which I just read a few months ago.

I just caught up on a bunch of posts... Love your winter pics. Just got back from a well-needed weekend outside of Gaylord where we got some beautiful snowfall. It's amazing how much the landscape transforms in just a couple hours' drive!

Mayrsol: Happy New Year to you too!

Noelle: Thanks! I just read about her time at UofM, my favorite chapter so far, and found out we were there at the same time. Hopefully I'll finish it up today, if I can get offline that is.
